The two Japanese Nobel Prize winners for Chemistry were on TV tonight. The messages were clear. Create (Discover) a new continent, explore, keep an "eternal optimism".
I would like to call them science entrepreneurs. They take a risk, study hard until they create a new value (discovery) . That's entrepreneurship!

　NHKの「クロースアップ現代」にノーベル化学賞を受賞された根岸、鈴木両教授が出演されていた。「新しい大陸を作れ！永遠の楽観主義であれ！」いい言葉だと思った。ボクは学者も起業家だと思う。新しい研究分野を切り開くためにリスクをとる。報われるかどうかは約束されていなくても、努力し続ける。
