A friend of mine from college and from HBS brought this article to my attention. I have always dreamed of simple living. I put experiences above materials. I have been lucky to have unforgettable experiences with my friends, been to so many places with the loved ones.
It is hard to forecast how the economy in the developed markets will be affected if the people change their life styles and value systems. But I think it is an experiment we should try. It has been too long of a period that people continued to buy things one after another. Why do we need to have a digital camera every two years? Let's think deeply why we need all of these things to become a happy person.
